Central Bank registers Sayat Nova branch of ACBA-CREIDT AGRICOLE BANK

YEREVAN, May 4, /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank has formally registered Sayat Nova branch of ACBA –CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK. The Central Bank said a corresponding decision was signed by Central Bank chairman Artur Javadyan on April 29. ACBA –CREDIT AGRICOILE BANK runs now 55 branches.

ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

According to the latest data, the bank’s assets in 2014 amounted to 286.4 billion drams; its liabilities were worth 237 billion drams and capital was worth 49.37 billion drams. ($1 – 476.42 drams) -0-
