$62.8 million bought by commercial banks at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought $62.8 million at 478.91 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over a period between July 20 and 24, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €7.3 million and 1 billion Russian rubles at the mentioned period at 519.63 drams and 8.32 drams respectively.

Commercial banks sold $70.8 million, €13 million and 186.2 million at the intra-banking forex market over the same period at 480.39 drams, 525.21 drams and 8.47 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams amounted to $31.9 billion, and dollar loans totaled $34.8 million at a period between July 13 and 19. ($1 – AMD 477.85). —-0—–
