Number of Armenian commercial banks’ clients rises 11.8% to 2,289,611 clients by late May 2015

YEREVAN, August 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s commercial banks had 2,289,611 clients in late May 2015 – 11.8% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

In late April, the number of the commercial banks’ corporate clients reached 78,961 and individuals 2,210,650.

There were 4,044,948 accounts at the country’s commercial banks in late May 2015 against 3,499,831 accounts in late May 2014.

The number of individual accounts stood at 3,868,964 and the number of corporate accounts 175,984 in late May 2015.

Balances of deposits attracted from the population totaled AMD 927 625 million in late June 2015 after growing 0.1% or by AMD 1 057 million over one month and 9.9% or by AMD 83 286 million over one year.  ($1 – AMD  478.29). —-0—–
