Armenia’s monetary base increased 3.4% to AMD 777 billion in June 2016

YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base grew 3.4% in June 2016, compared with May, to AMD 777 billion, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports referring to the central bank’s preliminary data.

Cash outside of the central bank amounted to AMD 387.2 billion in June against AMD 368.8 billion in May.

Correspondent accounts in drams totaled AMD 278.8 billion in late June against about AMD 265.5 billion in late May and in foreign currencies AMD 106.1 billion against AMD 111.9 billion.

Net international reserves without money from privatization totaled over AMD 398.3 billion in late June after growing 2.6% over one month.

Net internal assets amounted to AMD 378.8 billion against AMD 388 billion. ($1- AMD 476.13). -0—-
