Armenian credit organizations increase their equity capital by 16.2 percent

YEREVAN, August 18. /ARKA/. At the end of quarter two, 2016 the equity capital of 32 credit organizations operating in Armenia amounted to 156.9 billion drams, having increased by 16.2% from the beginning of the year.

According to an ARKA news agency’s study, the leading credit organization by size of equity capital was Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin, whose capital increased by 24.8% in  6 months to 79.1 billion drams. It was followed by the National Mortgage Company with 18.8 billion drams equity capital. The figure represented a 16.8% growth from the beginning of the year.

Aregak credit organization was third with 14.6 billion drams of equity capital (a 2.8% growth). It was followed by Finca with about 5.84 billion drams (a 3.6% growth) AND Kamurj with 5.78 billion. drams (a decline of 1.9%). ($ 1 – 475.30 drams). -0-
