Armenia’s monetary base grows 7.7% to AMD 836.9 billion in July 2016

YEREVAN, September 2. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base grew 7.7% in July 2016, compared with June, to AMD 836.9 billion, the National Statistical Service told ARKA News Agency referring to the central bank’s preliminary report.

Cash outside the central bank amounted to AMD 404.7 billion in July against AMD 387.2 billion in June.
Correspondent accounts in drams totaled AMD 309.1 billion against AMD 278.8 billion and correspondent accounts in foreign currencies AMD 114 billion against AMD 106.1 billion.

Net international reserves (excluding money from privatization) reached AMD 405.5 billion in late July after growing 1.8% over the month.

Net internal assets amounted to AMD 431.5 billion in late July against AMD 378.8 billion in late June. ($1- AMD 474.75). –0—-
