Armenia’s finance minister took part in the spring meeting of IMF and World Bank in Washington

YEREVAN, April 24. /ARKA/. Armenia’s finance minister Vardan Aramyan took part in the spring meeting of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington, USA, the Armenian ministry said.
According to it, on April 21 Aramyan held meetings with the IMF leadership, discussing the macroeconomic situation in Armenia and a number of issues related to cooperation between Armenia and IMF.

During a meeting with the IMF Deputy Director Dimitros Tsitsiragos, he discussed the investment portfolio of Armenia and the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector.

On April 22, the Armenian minister met with the Deputy President of the World Bank Cyril Muller to discuss Armenia’s cooperation with the World Bank, priority programs, the economic situation in Armenia, budgetary assistance and especially important areas of cooperation.

Aramyan also took part in the symposium organized by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, presenting investors with the economic attractiveness and development prospects of Armenia. -0–
