Overdue loans at Armenia’s banks shrink 4% in September

YEREVAN, November 2. /ARKA/. Overdue loans at Armenia’s banks shrank 4% in September, compared with August 2017, to AMD 37.87 billion, the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

Loans with extended maturity term reduced 8.6% to AMD 125.3 billion.

Banks’ credit exposure totaled AMD 2 331.8 billion (0.37% reduction), where loans extended in foreign currencies were equal to AMD 1 475.2 billion and loans provided in Armenian drams amounted to AMD 856.6 billion.

The aggregate amount of loans at Armenia’s banks has shrunk 0.01% over one month to AMD 2 495 billion in late September.
