VTB Bank (Armenia) customers will get cashback for purchases by Visa cards

YEREVAN, Feb. 16. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa international payment system have launched a joint #boomerangcashback promotion campaign designed for Visa cardholders, the bank’s press service reported.

It said the bank’s customers are asked to accumulate bonus points and exchange them for cashback. The campaign will run up to May 15 of 2022 (inclusive).

To participate in the #boomerangcashback promotion campaign the bank’s clients should make non-cash payments with their Visa cards issued by VTB Bank (Armenia) until May 15 (inclusive) to accumulate bonus points for non-cash transactions made at the sale points and online stores and exchange them for the cashback. If they have more than one Visa card, the points will be added up.

Bonus points for non-cash transactions are accumulated according to the following principle:

– 0.5 bonus point  is awarded for each non-cash payment of up 1000 drams made in retail outlets/service points in Armenia, as well as in internet stores,

– 1 bonus point is awarded  for each non-cash payment of AMD 1000 or foreign currency equivalent made in shops/service points abroad, as well as in internet stores,

– The minimum amount per transaction to accumulate bonus points is 5000 AMD or foreign currency equivalent, and 2.5 points will be accumulated for a purchase made in Armenia and 5 points for a purchase made abroad.

– The maximum number of points for 1 transaction is 500 points.

To check the bonus points one can visit gifts.vtb.am, fill in the first 6 and the last 4 figures of their Visa card number, their first and last names and check the points.

To get the cashback, the client needs to choose the amount of cashback according to the accumulated points on gifts.vtb.am and then fill in the requested data and confirm the order. The sum will be credited to the participant’s Visa card after checking the order for compliance with the rules of the action.

Points will not be accumulated for the following transactions: utility payments, card transfers, gambling-related transactions, payments to state and local budgets, insurance payments, traveler’s checks and other transactions in financial institutions.

In the #boomerangcashback promotion, each participant can redeem their reward points for cashback only once.
