Armenian central bank raises key rate to 9.25 percent

YEREVAN, March 15. /ARKA/. Armenian Central Bank’s Board has raised today the refinancing rate by 1.25 percentage points, setting it at 9.25%.

According to the press service of the regulator, the Lombard repo rate is set at .75%. The rate of lending to commercial banks is 7.75%.

On February 1, 2022, the Central Bank had already raised the refinancing rate by 0.25 p.p. to 8%. –0–
