Armenian banks’ securities portfolio amounted to 365 billion drams at the end of September

YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. The portfolio of securities issued by Armenia’s banks in the first half of 2022 totaled 365 billion drams, according to the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA).

In the 2021, the banks issued a total of 446bln drams worth securities, UBA said in a report on the banking sector.

By the end of September 2022, the investments made by the banks into securities amounted to 1.5 trillion drams.

This figure grew by 273 billion drams or 22.2% over the first nine months of 2022 and by 191 billion drams or 14.6% compared to the end of June this year. ($1 – 395.92 drams) -0-
