Armenian farmers can insure their crops

YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. Armenian farmers growing 13 types of crops: grapes, apricot, peach, plum, cherry, sweet cherry, watermelon, melon, apples, potato, as well as wheat and barley can insure their future crops against late spring frost, drought, hail and fire, the Ministry of Economy said on Monday.

The ministry pointed out that agricultural insurance is available in all regions of the country. The insurers are Rosgosstrakh-Armenia, Sil Insurance and Ingo Armenia companies. –0—
