Wine festival with Acba Bank and Visa (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. Summer, wine, friends… The “Yerevan Wine Days” street festival has been creating a joyful atmosphere in Yerevan for already 7 years to confirm once again that “the truth is in wine”.

About 70 Armenian winemaking companies acquaint local and foreign wine lovers with the history of Armenian wine, their technologies and philosophy recommending that they drink only Armenian wine.

This year’s festival is unprecedented in terms of the number of visitors. Thousands of them from all over the world are impressed by Armenian wine and hospitality.

Acba Bank, which prioritizes the strategic importance of Armenian winemaking, is the main partner and sponsor of the festival. Visa international payment system is a partner of the festival with Acba.

“In our opinion, this is a very good opportunity for winemakers, wine lovers and in general those who love Yerevan, to “sense” the Armenian capital city. Here you can see people of all ages, who find pleasant things to do and take part in the festivities. If you like friends, if you like wine and having a good time, you should definitely visit the wine festival. We are happy to support this particular event that gives a boost to tourism development. We know that this festival is on the tourism map and there are many people who mark this day in their calendars to be in Yerevan on this day and feel this atmosphere,” said Arsen Melkonyan, Deputy CEO of Acba Bank.

Mary Badalyan, co-founder and director of EventTura, for her part, underscored the cooperation with Acba Bank because Acba brings an international partner as a sponsor of the festival.

“This enhances the role of the festival because we show tourists that the festival is well established and has international partners. Acba Bank, being our partner, not only supports the organization of the festival, but also contributes to the development and popularization of Armenian wine,” said Mary Badalyan.

Every year the organizers do their best to position and promote the Armenian wine on international platforms.
