Insurance premiums in Armenia in Q2, 2023 amounted to AMD 17.7 bln.

YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. Insurance premiums in Armenia amounted to over 17.7 bln drams in Q2, 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee.

In the first quarter of this year this figure was over 24.1 billion drams, while the annual indicator in 2022 was over 62.3 billion drams.

Of the total insurance premiums in the second quarter, personal insurance accounted for over 6.2 billion drams, property insurance for about 4 billion drams, liability insurance – for 636 million drams, compulsory insurance of liability arising from the use of land motor vehicles – for 6.2 billion drams.

Insurance payments during the reporting period amounted to over 10.7 billion drams (over 7.2 billion drams in the first quarter and over 29.2 billion drams in  2022).

Out of this amount  personal insurance payments accounted for over 3.6 billion drams, property insurance – for 551.2 million drams, liability insurance – for 7.3 million drams, compulsory insurance of liability arising from the use of land motor vehicles – for 6.1 billion drams.
