Acba Bank to sponsor “Yerevan Wine Days” festival until 2027

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. Acba Bank will be the main sponsor of “Yerevan Wine Days” festival in the next 3 years, the bank’s press service reports.

A more intense program, tasting of Armenian wines, a large demonstration of local dishes and special guests are planned within the framework of the festival this year.

“We are taking steps to make the event tourism in Armenia more attractive. What is important is that Armenia has a wine festival, and people make notes in their calendars to come and become its participants. There are not many festivals in Armenia, but this one and several similar successful festivals give us hope that we will have a country rich in festival entertainment that will attract not only Armenians but also guests from abroad,” said Arsen Melkonyan, Deputy CEO for Business Transaction Coordination at Acba Bank.

“Since 2019, Acba Bank has been the main sponsor of ‘Yerevan Wine Days’. And over these years, both the growth and development of the festival is clearly visible. The scale of the festival is growing, and we believe that this is also thanks to the cooperation with Acba Bank. Confident in this collaboration, every year we take bold steps to make the festival even bigger,” said Mary Badalyan, co-founder and director of EventTura.

This year the number of festival guests is expected to exceed 200 thousand. Many tourists visiting Armenia specially choose festival days to taste Armenian endemic wines and get acquainted with its gastronomic heritage.

Acba Bank attaches great importance to the development of event tourism, viticulture and winemaking in Armenia. The Bank does its best to make event tourism another stimulus for economic development of the country.
