Central depository of Kazakhstan opens nominee account in Central Depository of Armenia

YEREVAN, December 4. /ARKA/. The Kazakh Central Securities Depository of Kazakhstan (KCSD) has joined the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) system by opening a nominee account, according to the press service of the Armenia Stock Exchange.

This membership is crucial for enhancing cooperation between the capital markets of the two countries and expanding access to the securities markets.

Clients of the KCSD will now have access to Armenia’s corporate and government securities. This will enable KCSD clients to take advantage of the advanced services offered by the CDA.

Through its membership in the CDA system, the Kzajh Central Securities Depository aims to offer its clients new investment opportunities and a high level of integration within the securities market functions.

According to Ani Makaryan, the Director General of the Central Depository of Armenia, this is an important step towards integrating the financial sectors of the two countries, which will contribute to the development of capital markets and expand investment opportunities in both Armenia and Kazakhstan.-0-
