ADB reaffirms support for inclusive and sustainable economic development in Armenia

YEREVAN, June 2. /ARКА/. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is committed to providing consistent support to Armenia in stimulating inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This was stated on Monday by ADB Deputy Executive Director Llewelyn Roberts at a meeting with Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan.

The parties discussed the main areas of cooperation between Armenia and ADB, current and future programs, and touched upon the agreements reached at the 58th Annual Meeting held in Milan in May this year, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reported.

The head of the Ministry of Finance highly appreciated the role of ADB in the process of socio-economic development of Armenia, noting that significant progress was recorded in the development, approval and signing of new programs in 2024. As a result, the cooperation portfolio between Armenia and ADB continued to grow dynamically, covering both credit and grant components.
