Armenia’s banking sector’s  profit amounted to 201 billion drams in January-June – UBA

YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. The 17 banks in Armenia earned a combined profit of 201 billion drams in the first half of 2025, said Daniel Azatyan, head of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA).

He also noted that by the end of 2024, the sector’s s profit amounted to 363 billion drams.

According to Azatyan, as of June 30, 2025, the total assets of all commercial banks operating in the country amounted to 11.6 trillion drams, their total capital – to 1.9 trillion drams, the loan portfolio – to 7.1 trillion drams, deposits – to 6.7 trillion drams, and investments in securities – to 466 billion drams.
