Non-commercial remittances to Armenia increased by 29.1% in August – World Bank

YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/.  In August, net non-commercial money transfers to Armenia continued to recover, rising 29.1 percent (yoy), the World Bank says in its latest  Armenia Monthly Economic Update – October 2025 report.

According to it, this was driven by a 62.7 percent (yoy) increase in net inflows from Russia, representing 64 percent of total net inflows, and a 9.7 percent (yoy) rise in net inflows from the United States.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, in August of this year, the net inflow of non-commercial money transfers to Armenia amounted to $72.9 million, compared to $56.4 million in July of last year.-0-
