Armenian commercial banks contributed 131.2 billion drams in taxes to  state budget during the first nine months

YEREVAN, October 27. /ARKA/. All 17 commercial banks operating in Armenia from January to September 2025 were listed among the 1,000 largest taxpayers for the period, having contributed 131.2 billion drams to the state budget. This information is based on data released by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

Of the total taxes paid by banks, the tax authorities collected 129.3 billion drams, while customs authorities accounted for 1.9 billion drams.

As reported by the State Revenue Committee, bank profit tax collections reached 76 billion drams, personal income tax totaled 44.1 billion drams, VAT was 2.6 billion drams, and other taxes and duties amounted to 8.5 billion drams.

The top five banks by payment volume for the first nine months of this year were Ardshinbank with 31.9 billion drams (5th place), Ameriabank with 25 billion drams (6th place), ACBA Bank with 11.2 billion drams (19th place), Inecobank with approximately 10 billion drams (23rd place), and Converse Bank with 6.4 billion drams (38th place).

Included in the top 100 largest taxpayers were Unibank with 6.04 billion drams (39th place), IDBank with 6.01 billion drams (40th place), Evocabank with 5.5 billion drams (47th place), Araratbank with 4.8 billion drams (53rd place), Armeconombank with 4.7 billion drams (55th place), VTB Bank (Armenia) with 4.4 billion drams (58th place), ArmSwissBank with 3.76 billion drams (72nd place), AMIO BANK with 3.74 billion drams (73rd place), and Fast Bank with 3.6 billion drams (76th place).

The remaining three banks were ranked as follows: Mellat Bank with 1.6 billion drams (165th place), Artsakhbank with 1.5 billion drams (186th place), and Byblos Bank Armenia with 934.9 million drams (288th place).

The total payments made by the Central Bank of Armenia amounted to 1.7 billion drams.

According to the State Revenue Committee, the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia transferred over 1.4 trillion drams in taxes and customs duties to the state budget.-0-
