Euro and dollar exchange rates against Armenian dram fall, while the ruble rises

VTB (Armenia) has launched a simplified car loan program for the purchase of new cars at more than 50 car dealerships in the market.

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar to the Armenian dram, determined on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of April 1, 2026, increased by 0.07 points compared to March 31, reaching 377.23 drams.

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar against the Armenian dram, formed on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of March 31, 2026, decreased by 0.38 points compared to March 30, to 377.16 drams.

From March 30 to April 5, the Armenian financial market focused on exchange rate dynamics, the publication of March inflation data, the meeting of the Central Bank's management with the IMF mission, discussions of the reverse mortgage mechanism, the agreement between the CDA and UzCSD, and issues of disclosure by issuers in the capital market.

Central Bank of Armenia Governor Martin Galstyan held a final meeting with Alexander Timan, head of the IMF mission to Armenia, the regulator's press service reported.
