Armenia’s gross reserves increased to $4.6 billion in October, offering 3.7 months of import coverage – WB

YEREVAN, December 23. /ARKA/. Armenia’s international gross reserves rose to $4.6 billion in October, which corresponds to 3.7 months of import coverage, as stated in the World Bank’s review “Armenia Monthly Economic Update – December 2025”.

As reported by the Central Bank of Armenia, the gross international reserves of Armenia as of October 2025 totaled $4,541.7 million, up from $4,289.3 million in September, marking a monthly growth of 5.9%.

The WB highlights that in November, the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar saw a slight strengthening compared to October.

“In November 2025, relative to November 2024, the dram appreciated by 1.8% against the US dollar, while it depreciated by 6.8% against the euro and 23.6% against the ruble,” the report indicates.

According to Armstat, in November 2025, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram to the US dollar was 382.0 drams, which is 1.8% lower than in November 2024 (389.0 drams).-0-
