Net profit of Armenian credit institutions in 2025 increased 2.9-fold to 56.9 billion drams

YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. The total net profit (after tax) of Armenian credit institutions in 2025 amounted to 56.87 billion drams, compared to 19.50 billion drams in 2024 (an increase of 2.9-fold, or 191.6%).

Profit before tax for 2025 amounted to 65.21 billion drams, compared to 26.97 billion drams the previous year.

At the same time, of the 41 credit institutions operating in Armenia at the end of 2025, 6 ended the year with losses. According to the consolidated indicators of the ARKA news agency’s bulletin as of December 31, 2025:

total assets of credit institutions amounted to 859.88 billion drams (768.21 billion drams in 2024),

liabilities amounted to 406.01 billion drams (358.73 billion drams in 2024),

capital amounted to 453.86 billion drams (409.47 billion drams in 2024).
