Tokenization among the priorities of the Central Bank of Armenia’s digital asset strategy

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. Martin Galstyan, Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia, responded to a question from the ARKA news agency about whether the regulator is considering drafting a law on tokenization.

“Regarding tokenization, our strategy highlights this area as a separate subsection in the section on digital assets. I don’t know whether this will be formalized into law, but the Central Bank is discussing relevant decisions in line with the times,” Galstyan said.

Crypto market participants believe that tokenization is a good tool for attracting capital to Armenia. They are convinced that, with the right legislation, it could become a significant driver of economic growth.
