YEREVAN, April 23. /ARKA/. All 17 Armenia-based commercial banks are included in the list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers in the first quarter of 2026, having paid a total of 28.65 billion drams to the state budget, according to data released today by the State Revenue Committee.
Of all taxes and duties paid by the banks, tax authorities collected 28.25 billion drams, while customs authorities collected 400.6 million drams.
According to the State Revenue Committee, bank profit tax collections amounted to 10.37 billion drams, personal income tax to 13.94 billion drams, VAT to 1.29 billion drams, and other taxes and duties to 3.05 billion drams.
The top five banks by size of paid taxes are Ameriabank – 4.87 billion drams (13th place), Ardshinbank – 4.09 billion drams (17th place), ACBA Bank – 3.77 billion drams (18th place), Evocabank – 2.33 billion drams (25th place), and Inecobank – 2.18 billion drams (32nd place).
The top hundred largest taxpayers includ Fast Bank – 1.56 billion drams (48th place), Converse Bank – 1.5 billion drams (51st place), Armeconombank – 1.45 billion drams (54th place), IDBank – 1.41 billion drams (56th place), Araratbank – 1.25 billion drams (65th place), VTB Bank (Armenia) – 1.16 billion drams (69th place) and AMIO BANK – 1.13 billion drams (71st place).
The remaining five banks ranked as follows: ArmSwissBank – 782.9 million drams (102nd place), Artsakhbank – 401 million drams (204th place), Unibank – 296.3 million drams (273rd place), Byblos Bank Armenia – 292.8 million drams (273rd place), and Mellat Bank – 169.1 million drams (512th place).
The total amount of payments by the Central Bank of Armenia is 768.3 million drams.
According to the State Revenue Committee, the 1,000 largest taxpayers transferred more than 459.3 billion drams in taxes and customs duties to the state budget in the first quarter of 2025. Mobile Center Art leads the list (21.37 billion drams), Gazprom Armenia is in second place (19.76 billion drams), and Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine is in third place (15.48 billion drams).
