Non-cash payments through Central bank was increased by 27.4%

YEREVAN, November 19. /ARKA/. Volume of non-cash payments in Armenia through payment systems of Central Bank was increased by 27.4% or 793 billion drams in the third quarter of 2009 compared with the second quarter of 2009 making 3686 billion drams.

During the reporting period, the number of payments through payment systems of CB was increased by 14% or 87947 making 715186. Weighted average volume of transfers through payment systems of CB (without stock exchange activity) was about 57 billion drams in the third quarter and was increased by 12.4 billion drams compared with the second quarter.

During the reporting period, mid-daily number of transactions made 11175 increased by 1374 transactions. Mid-daily volume of money transfers related to stock exchange activity made 85 billion drams in the third quarter of 2009 increased by 9.4%.($1 – 387.41 drams).–0—
