Ameriabank together with USAID fs share begins project for financing SME floating capital

YEREVAN, March 24, /ARKA/. Ameriabank together with USAID FS Share program begins a project designed for financing the floating capital of small and medium-sized businesses, based on Purchase Order Financing.

The budget of this program is $2 million, the bank’s press office told ARKA.

It said the goal of the program is to help Armenian SME sector increase sales volumes, profits and create new jobs through financing their floating capital. The financing is intended for companies engaged in trade, food industry, agriculture, tourism, IT and energy.

The program is aimed at financing expenses related to purchase, packaging of raw materials and products, subject to resale or other production costs. Ameriabank cjsc is a private bank in Armenia controlled Russian investment bank Troika Dialog. It offers investment, corporate and limited retail banking services. -0-
