YEREVAN, June 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s economy is gradually recovering despite some challenges, Aristomene Varoudakis, head of the World Bank’s Yerevan office, said Monday at his meeting with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.

The national Assembly’s press office told ARKA News Agency that Abrahamyan thanked Varoudakis, who is wrapping up his mission in Armenia, for effective cooperation and expressed appreciation of his activity here.

Abrahamyan and Varoudakis spoke about the global crisis and its impacts on Armenia.
