Armenia’s foreign trade increases 23.6% year-on-year in January- September 2010 to $3.383.7 billion

YEREVAN, November 2, /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign trade increased 23.6% year-on-year in January- September 2010 to 1.277 trillion Drams in current prices or $3.383.7 billion, the country’s National Statistical Service reported.

It said exports grew by 43.9% to $705.3 million, while imports increased by 19.2% to $2.678.4 billion. The negative trade balance rose to $1.973.1 billion. According to preliminary figures, the negative trade balance in FOB prices totaled $1.560. 8 billion. For comparison Armenia’s foreign trade in the first nine months of 2009 totaled $2.737.3 billion. -0-
