Net finance outflow from Armenian banks for Jan-Sept 2010 amounts to AMD 50.7 billion

YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. Net finance outflow from Armenian banks amounted to AMD 50.7 billion (about $134.1 million at AMD 377.97 per one dollar exchange rate) in Jan-Sept 2010.

According to banks’ quarterly reports, balance in banks rose to AMD 291.8 billion by late September from AMD 276.2 billion in late June.

Operating activities took AMD 75.1 billion and investments AMD 10.9 billion from banks.

Instead, financial activity brought AMD 47.4 billion to banks.

Changes in foreign exchange rates had adverse impacts on cash and its equivalents – they took AMD 12 billion from banks.

ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank built up its cash by 17.9 billion to AMD 62.1 billion, Armeconombank enlarged its funds by AMD 3.3 billion to AMD 16.6 billion, Mellat Bank by AMD 3.2 billion to AMD 7.5 billion. Ameriabank by 3 billion to AMD 28.1 billion and Converse Bank by AMD 1.1 billion to AMD 22.1 billion.

ARKA News Agency’s analysis shows that 12 banks’ aggregate net outflow amounted to AMD 82 billion, and nine banks’ net inflow totaled AMD 31.3 billion in Jan-Sept 2010.
