Deputy Prime Minister discusses cooperation prospects with new head of WB Armenia office

YEREVAN, August 4. /ARКА/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce and newly appointed head of the WB Armenia office Fabrizio Zarcone, the government press service reported.

Pryce told the Deputy Prime Minister that Zarcone will use his experience in various regions and key areas of cooperation to implement the goals of Armenia’s development agenda.

Khachatryan wished the new head of the WB Armenia office success in expanding and developing fruitful cooperation with the World Bank.

The sides  exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral cooperation, including current initiatives and prospects for cooperation in the fields of water management, healthcare, tourism and public administration reforms.

The parties particularly touched upon the progress of the housing program for internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and the framework of planned cooperation with the World Bank in this area.-0-
