Armenian Banks Buy $68.5 Million At Inter-Bank Forex Market Between Jan 31 And Feb 4

YEREVAN, February 4. / ARKA /. Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $68.5 million at the local inter-bank foreign exchange market between January 31 and February 4 at an average weighted exchange rate of 363.26 Drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) reported today.

It said also the banks sold a total of $71.4 million in the same time span at 364.77 Drams per one USD. The aggregate volume of deals effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia exchange in the same period of time in USD was $17.5 million. Deals were effected at average weighted exchange rate of 364.7 per one USD.

At intra-bank market a total of $3.3 million purchase and sale deals were effected at 364.1 Drams per one USD. Also the banks provided 18.4 billion Drams worth loans between January 24-30 in Armenian national currency and $49.4 million loans in USD. ($1 – 364.71 Drams). –0–

Yerevan’s budget revenues for the first four months amounted to 31.6 billion drams, with a 111.2% performance rate

From January to April 2026, the Yerevan budget actually received 31.6 billion drams of its planned 28.5 billion drams in revenues, according to David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Revenue Accounting and Collection Department at the Yerevan City Hall.
