BTA Bank (Armenia) begins issuing free plastic cards to Armenian pensioners

YEREVAN, February 10, /ARKA/. BTA Bank (Armenia) said today it has begun issuing free plastic cards to Armenian pensioners. Under an agreement signed with the labor and social security ministry, the bank will be paying pensions to senior citizens.

As of December 31, 2010 BTA Bank’s total capital stood at 5.2 billion Drams, assets at 8.2 billion Drams and liabilities at 3 billion Drams. Some 48.9% in BTA Bank Armenia is owned by BTA Bank, headquartered in Kazakhstan, 31.1% is owned by Austrian
