Ranking of Armenia’s Largest Credit Institutions by Total Capital in Q1 2026

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. ARKA News Agency publishes a ranking of Armenia’s largest credit institutions by total capital for the first quarter of 2026.

The total capital of Armenia’s credit institutions for the first quarter of 2026 amounted to AMD 458.03 billion, an increase of 9.76% compared to the first quarter of 2025.

According to ARKA News Agency’s ranking, the top five largest credit institutions in Armenia by capital as of March 31, 2026, were Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin, National Mortgage, Aregak, ACBA-Leasing, and Export-Finance.

Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin holds first place in the reporting period, with capital of 201 billion drams at the end of March this year, accounting for a 44.10% share in the system.

National Mortgage is in second place with capital of 59.3 billion drams and a 12.95% share of the sector’s total capital.

Aregak ranks third in the ranking, with capital of 34.5 billion drams (a 7.53% share).

ACBA-Leasing ranks fourth with capital of 26.3 billion drams (a 5.74% share).

Export Finance rounds out the top five largest credit institutions, with capital of 23.1 billion drams (a 5.05% share).

The ranking is based on the ARKA agency’s bulletin, “Credit Organizations of Armenia: Operational Data for the First Quarter of 2026,” prepared based on the official financial statements of credit institutions.
