Capital of Armenian credit institutions increased by 9.76% in the first quarter of 2026, exceeding 458 billion drams

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. The total capital of Armenian credit institutions in the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 458.03 billion drams, an increase of 9.76% compared to the first quarter of 2025. This is evidenced by the consolidated financial statements of the country’s credit institutions.

As of March 31, 2026, the total capital structure includes authorized capital of 273.8 billion drams, accumulated profit of 159.9 billion drams, reserves of 16.09 billion drams, and share premium of 6.72 billion drams. Thus, approximately 60% of total capital is accounted for by the authorized capital, and approximately 35% by accumulated profit.

The ranking is based on the ARKA agency’s bulletin, “Credit Organizations of Armenia: Operational Data for the 4th Quarter of 2025,” prepared based on the official financial statements of credit institutions.
