Combined credit investments of Armenian banks grew last year by 26.7%

YEREVAN, February 25. /ARKA/. The combined credit investments of Armenian banks, including deposits, factoring and leasing, grew last year by 26.7% or 203.7 billion Drams to 993.9 billion Drams, according to the banks’ financial reports for the 4th quarter of 2010.

According to an analysis of ARKA, the leading bank in terms of combined credit investments was ACBA Credit Agricole Bank with 113.2 billion Drams, a 15.8% rise from the beginning of the year. This bank accounted for 11.39% of all credit investments of all banks.

Second was Ameribank with 104 billion Drams credit investments, by 24% more from the beginning of the year. It accounted for 10.46% of the combined credit investments of all banks. Third came in HSBC Bank Armenia with 87.3 billion Drams of total credit investments which rose by 9.6% from the beginning of the year and made .8.79% of the combined credit investments of the banking sector. -0-
