ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank provided with ArmenTel’s integrated telecommunication services

YEREVAN, March 2. /ARKA/. ArmenTel CJSC (trading as Beeline) has provided ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, one of the largest banks of Armenia, with integrated telecommunication services, according to ArmenTel’s press release. This telecommunication operator is now providing fixed and mobile telecommunication services as well as data transfer networks to the bank.

“Under the contract, digital telecommunication channels have been given to the bank as well as VPN virtual private network enabling branches to exchange data in local network regime,” the press release says.

Besides, clients are now able to use settings and call limits independently via web interface.

Armen Melkumyan, chief of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank’s IT development unit, said cooperation with ArmenTel “made it possible to expand communication among our branches and to reach a new level”.

“This project has lessened the bank’s communication expenses and enhanced effectiveness of communication inside the company,” he said.

Igor Klimko, director general of ArmenTel, said that the company has a rich experience of provision of integrated solutions to corporate clients. -0-
