YEREVAN, March 15, /ARKA/.The size of credits provided to resident-companies by the Armenian commercial banks increased by 4.2% in January 2011 making about 526.7 million drams in December 2010, report of CB Armenia “Summarization of monetary-credit indicators for January 2011” states.

The size of crediting the companies increased by 0.3% making 139.6 million drams and foreign currency – 5.6% making 387.1 million drams.

Credits provided to private companies in drams and foreign currency increased by 0.6% and 0.9% making 136.1 million drams and 359.6 million drams accordingly. Credits provided to state companies in drams reduced by 11.9% making over 3.5 million drams and foreign currency increased 2.6 times making 27.6 million drams. ($1 – 367.97 drams). –0—
