Credit investments of commercial banks of Armenia in resident economy increased by 2.7% to 988.3 billion drams in April

YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. Total credit investments of banking system of Armenia in resident economy increased by 2.7% or 26.3 billion drams making over 988.3 billion drams at the end of April compared with March indicator, states monthly bulletin of CBA for April 2011.

The largest weighted average in total credit investments of the banks goes to the sphere of industry (22.6%) where the banks allocated about 223.6 billion drams (increase of 1.1% compared with the indicator of the last month).

The second place occupies the sphere of trade with the share of 20.8%, crediting of which increased by 2.5% in April making about 205.1 billion drams compared with March.

The third place occupy consumer credits -18.5%, the share of which increased by 2.7% compared with March. Consumer credits of commercial banks in resident economy exceeded 182.9 billion drams at the end of April.

Mortgage loans of the banks in resident economy make about 91.8 billion drams increased by 1.9%.

In April the banks allocated about 81.4 billion drams (increase by 3.3% compared with the last month) for the construction sphere.

Crediting of agriculture was over 60 billion drams increased by 4.9%, services reduced by 1% exceeding 45.9 billion drams and the sphere of transport and communications increased by 20.8% making about 36.5 billion drams. ($1 – 376.56 drams). G.K.—0–
