Credit volumes of residents of Armenia increased by 2.3% in April exceeding 1 trillion drams

YEREVAN, June 13. / ARKA /.Armenian commercial banks’ lending to the residents increased by 2.3% making over 1 trillion drams in April 2011 compared with March and to non-residents – reduced by 0.6% making 58.4 billion drams, states the report of CBA “Summary of monetary-credit indictors for April 2011”.

The credit lendings provided to the residents by drams increased by 2.3% exceeding 416.5 billion drams in April. The same indicator in foreign currency increased by 3.3% making 592.5 billion drams.

Credit lendings provided to non-residents reduced by 0.1% in April making 10.6 billion drams. The same indicator in foreign currency reduced by 0.7% to 47.7 billion drams. ($1 – 376.63 drams). –0–
