Armen Ter-Tachatyan appointed new chairman of Conversebank

YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. By the decision of the board of Conversebank, Armen Ter-Tachatyan is appointed new chairman of the board.

According to the press-release, Ex-Chairman of the Board Juan Pablo Gechidjian left the given post by his own initiative staying the member of the board.

Changes in the management of Conversebank are recorded by CBA.

Ter-Tachatyan and Gechidjian are members of the board of Conversebank since 2007 and occupied the post of the chairman in different times.

Conversebank cjsc was registered on December 20, 1993. From February 2007 Argentinean entrepreneur of Armenian origin Eduardo Ernekyan became its owner with the share of 95%. The remaining 5% belongs to Armenian Apostolic Church.

According to the data of “ARKA”, as of March 31, 2011 the assets of the bank were about 88.3 billion drams, liabilities – about 71.5 billion drams, total capital of the bank – 16.7 billion drams, credit investments – over 41 billion drams, liabilities to the clients – 54.8 billion drams, net income in 2011 – 335.3 million drams.

As of December 31 Conversebank has 28 branches. -0-
