State Budget Of Armenia In January-July 2011 Fulfilled With The Deficit Of 10.5 Billion Drams

YEREVAN, August 29. /ARKA/. State budget of Armenia in January-July 2011 was fulfilled by 10.5 billion drams which was only 14.6% of the planned deficit of 9 months to 72 billion drams, press-service of the Armenian Finance Ministry informed to “ARKA”.

According to the report of the Ministry, the revenues of the state budget of Armenia, taking into account extra-budgetary funds in January-July 2011 compared with January-July 2010 increased by 9.9%, or 43.4 billion drams making 482.2 billion drams at the end of July.

Tax entries, state duties, mandatory social payments and grants rose respectively by 9.9% (by 33.7 billion drams), 10.3% (by 6.7 billion drams) and 123.2% (by 6.6 billion drams) compared to the indicator of the same period of 2010. Other income for the period decreased by 12.5% (by 3.6 billion drams).

Armenia’s state budget entries from taxes and state duties in January-July 2011 amounted to 37.4 billion drams which makes 77% of 9-month program. According to the Ministry of Finance of Armenia, in comparison with January-July 2010 the mentioned entries in the reporting period increased by 9.9% or by 33.7 billion drams which is due to increased collection of VAT, income tax and customs duty.

Expenditures of the state budget of Armenia in the reporting period amounted to 492.7 billion drams, budgetary funds are 70.5% of planned 9-month indicator. According to the Ministry of Finance, in comparison with January-July 2010 state budget expenditures increased by 6.3% or 29.2 billion drams. Operating expenses amounted to 445.9 billion drams and operations with non-financial assets – 46.8 billion drams.

With the purpose of consolidated accounting of funds of the state, according to the law “On state budget for 2011”, the planned budget and actual figures of the state budget include the turnover of extra-budgetary funds of public institutions of Armenia, as well as payments made without restrictions from the state budget.
