Results of 8-month activity of mandatory car insurance institute in Armenia to be discussed in the national assembly on September 26

YEREVAN, September 14. /ARKA/. Results of eight-month activity of mandatory car insurance institute in Armenia will be summarized on September 26 in the parliament hearings, said the member of opposition Revolutionary Federation “Dashnaktsutyun” Artsvik Minasyan.

“Introduction of mandatory car insurance caused active public discussions. The opinions of significant part of the society on this topic still differ”, said Minasyan during the first meeting of autumn session of the parliament.

In this regard, parliament committee on financial-budget issues organizes parliament hearings dedicated to summarization of results of eight-month activity of mandatory car insurance institute in Armenia.

“We will discuss a large range of issues starting from the current problems to the possible scenarios of mandatory car insurance development in Armenia, particularly the issue of changing the tariffs”, said Minasyan.

Institute of mandatory car insurance operates since January 1, 2011 in Armenia. –0–
