Combined capital of Armenian credit organizations grows to 47.6 billion drams at the end of September

YEREVAN, November 24. / ARKA /. The combined capital of Armenian crediting organizations amounted to approximately 47.6 billion drams at the end of September, having increased by 4.1% or 1.8 billion drams in the third quarter, according to an analysis made by ARKA news agency.

The leader by size of total capital was the National Mortgage Company. At the end of September 2011 its total capital stood at about 8.5 billion drams accounting for almost 18% of the combined capital of all crediting organizations of Armenia.

The list of top five companies included also Aregak with about 7.8 billion drams capital (16.47% of the total capital of crediting institutions), Norvik with more than 6.3 billion drams (13.32%), Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin with about 4.7 billion drams (9.78%) and Kamurj with more than 2.6 billion drams (5.51%). During the third quarter of 2011 the highest capital growth rates were recorded by Garni Invest (60.28%), Kilikia ( 25.85%), Agroleasing (20.78%).

By size of share capital the leader was the National Mortgage Company (8.2 billion drams), Norvik ( 5.6 billion drams) and Bnakaran Yeritasardnerin (more than 4.5 billion drams). There are 31 crediting organizations in Armenia with 65 branches. ($1 – 384.03 AMD). -0-
