Statistics: Armenia Takes The Ninth Place Among CIS Countries By Inflation Level In The Amount Of 0.9%

YEREVAN. December 5. /ARKA/. Inflation level in Armenia in December 2010 was registered on the level of 0.9%. By this indicator Armenia takes the ninth place among CIS countries, data of Statistic Committee of CIS inform.

In CIS countries consumer prices increased by 8.3% in the mentioned period.

In October compared to September, consumer prices in Armenia increased by 0.3% (in average inflation in October was 0.6% in CIS countries).

According to statistical data, in October 2011 compared to December 2010 in all CIS countries inflation was observed. Maximum growth of consumer prices in the reporting period was registered in Belarus – 88.7%, Tajikistan – 8.9%, Moldova – 6.8%, Kazakhstan – 6.5%. Then comes Russia – 5.2%, Ukraine – 4.2%, Kyrgyzstan – 3.9% and Azerbaijan – 3.5%.
