Inflow of individual money transfers in Armenia grows 20.9% in Jan-Nov 2011

YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia says $1380.6 million was received in Armenia in Jan-Nov 2011 as individual noncommercial transfers – 23.1% year-on-year growth.
 
 According to the information available on the central bank’s official website, $238.4 million was transferred from Armenia abroad in Jan-Nov 2011 against the $198.5 million sent outside of the country at the same period a year earlier – 20.1% year-on-year growth.
 
Net inflow grew 21% from $943.8 million in Jan-Nov 2010 to $1142.1 million in Jan-Nov 2011.
 
Individual money transfers shrank 2.2% in November, compared with October, to $142.5 million.
 
The largest amount came from Russia in Jan-Nov 2011 ($1028.7 million), just as at the same period a year before. ($1 – AMD 388.16).-0–
