Armenian Central Bank puts into circulation tow more commemorative coins

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia said it has put into circulation two commemorative silver coins “Judo” and “Wushu” as part of an international numismatic program “The Art of Martial Arts.”

The Central Bank said the obverse of the “Wushu” coin depicts the main entrance to the famous Chinese Buddhist Monastery “Shaolin” and the obverse of “Judo” coin depicts the famous Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

The face value of both coins is 1000 drams. The Central Bank has issued 5 thousand silver commemorative coin, made of silver. Their diameter is 38.61 mm and the weight is 28.28 grams.

The coins were designed by Edward Kurginyan and minted by Meyer company in Germany.-0-
