Volumes of the provided mortgage loans by commercial banks of Armenia at the end of January 2011 was 110,3 billion drams

YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. Volume of the provided mortgage loans by commercial banks of Armenia at the end of December 2011 was 110.3 billion drams, which increased by 2.5% compared to November, states the site of Central Bank of Armenia.

The share of mortgage loans in total credit portfolio of commercial banks of Armenia was 9.2% in the reporting period.

According to the data, average percent rate of mortgage loans in December 2011 in Armenia was 12.85% , increased by 0.3 p.p. compared to the last month.

Total volume of credits provided by commercial banks of Armenia in the resident economy at the end of December 2011 was 1.2 trillion drams, increased by 3.1% compared to November 2011.

As of December 31, 2011 in Armenia 21 commercial banks were registered. ($1 – 386.85 drams). –0–
