Average annual interest rate on mortgage loans in USD increased by 0.3 in December to 13%

YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. The average annual interest rate on mortgage loans in USD increased by 0.3% in 2011 December as opposed to November to 13%, according to a  Central Bank of Armenia report. The average interest rate on loans in Armenian national currency fell by 0.1 percentage points to 12.7%.

The average interest rate on long-term loans in AMD, issued by commercial banks  decreased by 0.6 percentage points in December to 17% and the interest rate on loans in foreign currency increased by 0.3% to 13.4%.

Short-term loans in drams were provided in December at the average 17.2%, up from 17.1% in November, while loans foreign currency loans at 15%, up from 14% in November. ($1 – 388.37 drams). -0-
