Armenia’s consumer basket jumps by 3.8% to AMD 55 327.3 in first quarter

YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. The  consumer basket in Armenia in the first quarter of 2012 rose by 3.8% to 55 327.3 drams (per month) as of late March  compared to the fourth quarter a year earlier, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

According to statistical data, the cost of minimum set of products within the consumer basket advanced 3.8% to 31 258.3 drams per month in the first quarter.

Consumer basket includes such products as bread (which costs 3362,9  drams per  month per capita in Armenia is), meet products (7879.1 drams), potato (1838.2 drams), fruit (3594.6 drams), sugar (714.3 drams), dairy  (6132.6 drams), eggs (933.8 drams), vegetable oil (512.8 drams), fish (2048.6 drams), margarine (342.3 drams) and other products.
